To The Love of My Life ❤️

My Love, My Journey With You

From the very first day, 3rd of March 2025, when I confessed my love to you, my life has never been the same. That single moment opened the door to a story that God Himself is writing for us, a story of love, faith, and destiny.

On 26th March, you wanted to give me feedback, but I wasn't around. I didn't know then how deeply you were already becoming part of me. By 7th April, when you asked me about my vision, smiling shyly, asking about my genotype, I could already feel heaven nodding in agreement with what was about to unfold.

Then came 11th April, when you referred me to Daddy Adigun. By 13th April, I went to see him, and step by step, God was weaving us closer. On 28th April, when you asked about the result, I opened up about my health struggles, and and i was deeply moved by how concerned you were.

On 3rd May, I finally sent you the genotype result. By 4th May, you suggested another urgent test. I went on 5th May, and by 6th May, it was still AS. Then came that day, 17th May, when you broke the news that you were also AS. I was scared, but you stayed. I asked for three days, and on 18th May, I began fasting and prayer. That same night, I called you that you should join me, and you join. we prayed together at school — two hearts joined before God, trusting Him.

By 21st May, you sent me testimonies, reminders of God's power, How God has help some people in the past giving me assurance that It is possible. On 22nd May, you sent me another result, still AS. On 27th May, mine too came out AS. Yet, instead of doubting, on 28th May, I suggested Prayer City.

On 5th June, we went there, and though things didn't go as planned, we ended up at RCCG City. And then 6th June 2025 you said "Yes" to me. That day will forever remain etched in my heart. I call it Reckless Love and Great Faith. Despite the odds, you chose this journey with me. The only other love story I've seen like this is of Jesus Himself, who gave all, even when people doubted Him. You are a woman of faith, my love.

The next day, 7th June, you said the first "I love you" in RCCG City, and I replied with joy. By 9th June, I was the first to type it. These simple words, "I love you," became the melody of our hearts.

Then you left for Cross River on 11th June for NYSC camp. On 13th June, I poured myself into 21 heartfelt letters for you, so that even if I couldn't be there physically, my love would be present with you daily. On 12th June, you sent me your pictures, flooding my DM with your beauty. On 14th June, it was the first time you said you will give me shiko and you apologized sweetly. On 16th June, I sent you my own pictures. That same day, another genotype result came out — still AS.

By 5th July, you left Cross River back to Ogun, and on 6th July, you arrived. On 7th July, I sent you another letter — an epistle of love reaffirming my heart for you. Then came 8th July, when we went to Oke Ilewo OOPL, enjoying movies, gist, and laughter. That day remains one of my sweetest memories.

On 14th July, we began three nights of worship at CACSA. On 17th July, we had our three-day retreat at Prayer City. By 19th July, you wrote me your first long epistle of love, and my heart melted. On 22nd July, you made the hairstyle I loved.

Then came 24th July, when we went to Agodi Park, Ibadan, a truly memorable outing that I will never forget. The trees, the laughter, the beauty of the day... but more than all that, it was the moment I confessed my love to you once again. I told you that even if this genotype never changes, I am already willing to walk down the hill of life with you. That day sealed something deep in my heart: my love for you is not conditional, it is eternal.

On 25th July, you confessed your love to me too, and cooked your first meal for me, a taste I will always remember. On 26th July, we bought a gift for Daddy Adigun's birthday

On 5th August, you left again for Cross River, and I gave you "Open When" letters, pieces of my soul, written so you could open whenever you missed me. One of those letters has led you right here, to this very moment, reading these words.

Then came 10th August, when you were made Assistant Zonal Secretary. On 14th August, you began selling foodstuffs. On 26th August, we started our 21 days of daily declaration for a change in our genotype — speaking faith into what the doctors said was impossible. And on 31st August, I sang my first love song to you. That same day, you opened the last of the "Open When" letters.

My Love,

When I look back at our journey — the prayers, the tests, the fears, the laughter, the letters, the retreats, the meals, the movies, the songs, the trips — I see nothing but God's hand writing our story. Truly, it has already been a journey, yet God is only just beginning with us.

I know deep in my soul that He is taking us places, and with you by my side, there is no mountain too high, no storm too fierce, no odds too strong.

With you, I have found love, faith, and home. ❤️

Forever yours,
Aduragbemi

Now, a song for you my love:
